beauty found in all of us and puts a smile god's face, It also makes god glad of what he did in the garden, When with the image of his soul he created man and woman, A perfect example for all of us, Is his son Jesus, Who from his very birth, Until he ascended to heaven from earth, Showed with his life the way, We should live our life every day, So we could be more like god in every way, If we could only do this then in heaven for all eternity we would stay, With a heavenly father that adores us, Like his son Jesus, [2] SABBATH DAY Six days god gave man to work one, And on the seventh day god said let no work be done, But let this day be a day of rest for man and beast, Because on this day I have finished creating all things from most to least, And on this day god himself did rest, Those who follow his instructions will truly be blessed, However those that do not will fall from god favor, Don't be one of those who waiver, At following god's commands, You will find no rest for for all the blessings received, The birds are another example all day long they sing their praises to our heavenly father, And fly from one place to another, They they to do not worry for nothing, For god provides them with everything, Just another example of what god is willing to do, For the likes of me and you, The examples above teach how we should depend on god like little children, For Jesus said that we should be like them to get into heaven, There is a insect that should remind us to do this, It reminds us to spend time on our knees in prayer and that insect is the praying mantis, The praying mantis is seen on his knees in prayer to god for its next repast, And after patiently waiting it gets ist meal at last, Not often is it seen by us, But when we do it should remind us of what was said by Jesus, That we should pray often, And that god does answer the prayers of man, There is another insect it is called a bee, It could spent its life free, save Yet it willingly works for the hive, And would willingly give its life to make sure the hive survives, Jesus taught us to be willing to give up our lives, So that the sheepfold does not suffer strife, God shows us how this could be done, When he allowed mankind to crucify his only son, These are only a few hints of instances in nature, Where god himself is thhe teacher, And if we learn his lessons, We will realize that life is a true blessing, [4] FATHER'S DAY From now till the end of my days, Always I will think of my father in a special way, That is because I now know, How much he loved his boy, Every day he went to work two ensure, Regardless of what happened to him that my life was sccure, So much I want him to know, Down deep in my heart I love him so, And for the rest of my life I will try my best, Year in and year out that his life is blessed, [5] KING OF GLORY Tell me please father the story, About the king of Glory, I would be glad to my son, If after I am done, You answer for me a question, I have for So he threw them out of the garden, He made them work hard for their living, From that day on god never again walked with him, But only spoke to them from his heavenly realm, From the womb of the eve, Man was born to disbelieve, That there was a god in heaven, And one day god would again walk with man, It was up to adam and eve to teach them that it was true, And regardless of our sorrow god loves us and his love is true, Adam and eve tried to teach the children, So at least their children would be sin free, But Satan had other plans, For the children of man, Behind the back of adam and eve, The children he did see, He tried to convince them that god was not real, So their souls he could steal, But able would not listen for although he could not see god he still in his heart believed, Although satan tried hard able would not be deceived, So satan put hatred in the heart of cain, And cain killed able and the earth received its first blood stain, As the blood of Abel upon the ground did run did run out, To god the earth in pain did shout, For one of the first children of man, Had been killed and buried in its sand, Because of the earth's pain, God cursed cain, Cain knew he had done wrong and asked god to be forgiven, God said si&ce blood was shed so shall it be required for the forgiveness of sin, A lamb would be the sacrifice, And its blood would be sins price, God told cain to do this and he would forgive him, But for the rest of his life he was to roam throughout god's earthly realm, Cain did as god said, And into the wilderness he fled, Everywhere he went he told took noah, his family, and the best of the earth and sealed them in the ark and brought about the flood, Hoping this would cleanse the earth but through noah's children sin got a rebirth, For it survived the water, And was passed down by the survivors, Innocent animal blood was shed again, And there seemed to be no end, God knew he could stop the sacrifices, Then the people would think he was no longer forgiving, Since it was Adam and Eve son that started this way back then, It will require a direct ancestor for it to end, So god put a child in mary's womb and she became a holy mother, Then he brought Joseph near to be the father, This child was of god's own spirit, He would bring salvation to many if only they would hear it, For from his mouth would come great wisdom, And the keys to god's kingdom, This child grew up to be a man, And was known throughout the land, Not only as a great healer, But also A wise teacher, Who was followed by lots of people, To hear him teach in the temple, In this man a many of persons did believe, And their sins were relieved, But what about those who were not there, And of him were not yet aware, For god son was not meant to stay, Until the coming of judgment day, For as long as there was mankind's their souls would need saving, What would happen to them when he ascended to heaven, So god spoke to his son, And Christ said let your will be done, He would be the sacrificial lamb for man's sins, And through his blood they would be forgiven, So he went to calvary and died for the righteous few, Upon the cross was a sign proclaiming him king of the jews, And on his brow was worn, A crown of thorns, Satan rejoiced when his servents placed the crown in his hands, For he thought now he would be the ruler of all men, But we all know, That was not meant to be so, For god brought back Christ from the grasp of death, And before god's thrown he did stand, After receiving from satan the crown of thorns, He took his place at god's right hand for which he was born, And the crown of thorns became a golden crown, That shown all around, And from that day on Christ became a king of Glory, Now that we have reached the end of this story, Can you answer me this question, What do we need for redemption, The child answered first with all our hearts we must believe in god and Jesus, Then we must repent and ask them to forgive us, Then we VESSEL OF CLAY I was made from a piece of clay, In a very special way, By two loving hands, Then placed into a womb of a woman, There I waited till the timing was just right, To come forth into the light, When I did the first one I saw and loved was my mother, But deep in my memories I remembered another, One who I felt truly loved me, So much so he willingly set me free, To live my life as I desire, Nothing of me did he ever require, And I could even forget him, And his holy realm, Where I was first formed, And from where I was placed in a woman to be born, Well I never forgot him though, And slowly in my mind the thought of him did grow, The knowledge of him never stopped growing, Even though I was always doing satan's bidding, I had become one of satan's willing slaves, All because he provided the things that I did crave, As I got older and looked within me I became aware, That if I looked in my heart I could find my creator there, The more I thought of him the more he grew within my heart, The more he grew the more me and Satan grew A part, Satan saw he was losing me, He was not just going to set me free, So he set me up for a fall, With all intentions of letting the rot in prison until on me death did call, But my creator had other plans for me, Although from prison god did not set me free, He did help me do my time, By occuping my mind writing for him stories and poems that rhyme, God took something that Satan used and threw away, A used vessel made of clay, First he took this clay vessel and cleansed it with the blood of his son, And made it a source, For the enlightning of all mankind especially people like me who have remorse, Just think if god could use a old sinner like me, To help set his children from Satan free, What do you think he could do, With A pure in heart child of god like you, [8] KING DAVID'S FLAW David was a great king, Who loved god so much he wrote the psalms for his people to sing, One day as he sat on his throne, He came up with the idea to build god on earth a home, It became one of david's greatest desire, But when he went before god to inquire, God said he could not build his temple, He said it was because of his people, And their knowledge that David had been known to do wrong, They knew david's love for god was strong, Although David loved god he had committed many sins, Even though they knew that david's sins forgiven, They would never forget what David had done, As long as they lived under the sun, So if David had done the job, People would lose respect for god, Because god let him build the place, Whre the chosen few out of all the human race, Came to worship him and to learn to follow his laws, So this was david's greatest flaw, One that was not be found in his son, His son Solomon would be the one, To build the house of the lord, The temple of heavenly light that god's children would be drawn toward, For god knew that Solomon would not only be righteous but also wise, And he would be flawless in his people's eyes, Solomon built the temple and it was known to be of great worth, And there was nothing like it in all the earth, Solomon reputation of having a heart that was pure, Made god's children know for sure, That the temple he built was inhabited by a righteous lord, Who not only wrote but also stands by his holy words, [9] PEACE COMES FROM GOD People will not give you a lasting peace, Everyone knows even loved ones peace we soon cease, Anger is not an answer either, Causing others pain don't help either, Even if for a time it makes you glad in the long run it will make you feel bad, Crying sometimes helps you feel better, Only true peace I have ever known came from opening the bible and reading the red letters, Maybe you might not think so but I know one thing for sure, Everything else you can do will not bring you closer to peace that is for sure, Simply read a chapter or two, From day to day till you work your way all the way through, Relieves the stress within you, Only after reading a few lines you will feel better through and through, Maybe that is what you should do, Give god a chance to bring peace to you, Once you do I am sure you will see, Despair will go away leaving only a peace that will set you free, [10] FROM A CROSS TO A THRONE Father forgive them for what they do, Ragged and beaten beyond belief, On across he died for me and you, Mankind's still does not realize he died so from sin we could find relief, That son of god called Jesus, He could of easily have just run away, Evil then would of owned the souls of all of us, Can you imagine the celebration in hell that day, Realize if he had not died then, Our redemption would not of been possible, Sins could not be forgiven, Society as we know it would be in shambles, Then the earth would of been ruled by Satan, Only relief we would find here is when we passed on, And in the cold grave with hopes that we would be forgiven waiting, The truth is jesus' from the cross did not run, He died on it because of his loved for us, Reason enough for him to win the title, Of ruler of all earth long live king Jesus, Now that he had defeated satan in that major battle, Effortlessly he claimed the right to the golden throne at gods right hand in his heavenly home, [11] WOULD BE CHILDREN In the book of revelation god spoke of the day, When the light of the world went away, And only the darkness of satan survives, With it the would be children of god would have to strive, They would live their life on the edge, Because of their self made pledge, To never waver, From following their lord and savior, Satan would make it hard on them, In his unholy earthly realm, Food and other necessities for them would be hard to find, And they could not expect help from other members of mankind, There would not be any help from god in heaven above, For earth he has no more love, All his children he has taken away, To heaven were with him for ever they will stay, So the only relief that the would be children can expect, Is that Satan would kill them quick, And when into the light of judgment they come from the dark, They are brought before god and he sees they don't have Satan's mark, With love and adoration god will welcome them into heaven, Where forever they will receive their heavenly mansion, [12] TEARS FROM ANGER TO JOY Many in mile I walked, And with a many a person I talked, I not only talked but also I listened to what they had to say, About Jesus and his healing way, Some things that I heard made me want to go in haste, For some said there was no time to waste, The priests had it in for him, Because he said he was from god's heavenly realm, They were just bidding their time, Trying to charge him with a crime so they would be justified, When they brought him before pilot to be crucified, So I hurried on my way, And I got closer from day to day, every time I reached a town where he supposed to be I would find, That I was always one day behind, For he never stayed in one place for long, Because the great throng, Then one day I caught up with him, In the city of David Jerusalem, As I stood there before you, I did not know what else to do, But to fall to my knees, Especially after my long journey, Across many strange lands, Just to feel that touch of your healing hands, Now how was I to be made whole, Oh to see you hanging from that cross hurt my very soul, Then with angry tears in my eyes, I suddenly realize, As I watched you hanging there, Something that I had just become aware, That the tears that I was crying, Were not because the hands of man were the cause of you dying I was crying because of my self, And cared not for your health, How selfish had I become, As I realize this the feeling of sorrow I had was welcome, Now the tears that fell from my eyes were in sorrow, Knowing that you would not be here tomorrow, As I look up and our eyes met, I knew that I would not go to hell just yet, For I knew right then, That all my sins were forgiven, And I knew now the reason why you had to die, These thoughts really made me cry, The tears though were not tears of anger or grief, But they were tears of joy and relief, Because of your willing sacrificed, You had paid the ultimate price, For the forgiveness of our sins, That we committed time and again, Although I never became whole, I had in the eyes of god a pure soul, And when I reach the promised land, I would for the rest of eternity have the body of a perfect man, [13] SELAH In the court of David the king, There was many that could sing, They would sing their songs, All the day and night long, They had a glorious job, Singing praises to the one and only god, Although they are in this tale, It is not about them that I wish to tell, For this story is about a young child, That was meek and mild, That came to listen to the choir everyday, With hopes that one day they would ask him to stay, He knew they would not because of the songs he had not song, For you see confusion, When they did not work in union, Well selah got to the point, He could not take it anymore, So when the beat of the song was to change he stomped on the floor, Each time that selah would do If you watched selah you will find, The only time selah stomped the floor was when the beat was wrong, He was quiet through the rest of the song, So when the music director was about to toss selah beat changed in the song, For that day on there was no more confusion, And if you closed your eyes while listening you would get the illusion, You were listening, To the angels playing music and singing, Well David decided to write his songs down, When it came to the beat changes he found, If he put selahs name there, The musicians knew that the beat was to change there, Well this was selahs finest hour, For not only was he a important member the choir, But when he died and went to Glory, He knew that his name would be a part of history, "SELAH" [14] NOBLE TREE AND THE SACRIFICE One day noble as he was on his journey, Came to mount hored and decided to go to the top to see what he could see, When he was halfway up he found a good place where he could spy out the land, As he was what was going on, And the angel said I am waiting to see if Abraham will sacrifice Isaac his son, For that was god's will, Don't worry I am to stop him when he raises the knife to kill, The angel move closer to Abraham, Before he did he pointed to a ram, Go catch and hold him, It will be a sacrifice to god for them, Noble tree caught the ram and held it down, Then he looked around, Abraham help the knife in the air, As Abraham started to bring the knife down the angel let out a shout, Abraham stopped and turned about, When he saw the angel of the lord he fell to his knees, The angel told him to get up and set Isaac free, For god does not want the life and your son, He just wants someone he could rely on, You proved to him that on you he can, For you are truly a god fearing man, From this day on you will be known as the father of god's people throughout his earthly realm Abraham, Now go gather up that ram, For he will suffice, As a perfect sacrifice, So he set Isaac free, And took the ram from the branches of noble tree, They sacrificed the ram in Isaacs place, Then they went home and lived in god's grace, Noble tree continued his journey throughout the land, But with a lot more respect from man, Because of Abraham and what he was willing to do, Just because god told him too, [15] SIMPLE PRAYERS Simple prayers is the best way, In this fashion if we pray, Many people would get god's attention, Praying long prayers is not a solution, Long prayers take time that is valuable, Even though they are viable, Praying for part of what you desire one day, Receiving it then for the other part pray, Allows god to fulfill that need, You'll have a better chance for your praying to succeed, Even though it may take awhile have patience, Realize if you do it this way you will get from god bless resistance, So if you want god to answer all of your prayers the best way is to make them simple by breaking them into layers, [16] SILENCE Some people would pay a fortune for it, If printed on a sign people ignore it, Librarys are better with it, Everyone should learn to express it, Not for themselves but others that need it, Can not have peace and tranquility without it, Evil can not endure it for in it we can get close to god where we'll find peace and tranquility that is pure, [17] AFTER THE CROSS As they watched him ascend into the sky, Feelings of the emotion were high, That is because of what he had done, Everyone knew of the battle with satan on that cross he had won, Releasing mankind from using animal sacrifices for payment of their sins, There was a better way for mankind to be forgiven, His sacrifice brought all who knew him to one accord, Everyone who wanted to be forgiven only had to say a few words, Curing them from the sickness of sin and cleansing their soul, Redemption is assured now that the soul was whole, Open your heart and say this simple prayer, So that once again you will find yourself in his favor, Simply say forgive me father of my sins through the blood of you son for his blood is like no other, [18] HAPPY DEPENDANCE DAY How many times have you seen people fight for their independence, And once they receive it they do what they can to find someone in which they can maintain dependance, People do not really want to be on their own, Perhaps it is because they are really afraid to be alone, Year after year statistics have shown, During everyone's life time a person must depend on someone whose skills are known, Even someone who is blessed with great wealth, Painfully or not must acknowledge they cannot do everything themselves, Even they must hire someone, Now and then to get a job done, Depending on the skills required, Even the person that is hired, Now must hire someone to do a job they cannot do, Can you see what I am tring to say to you, Everyone needs help from day to day, Don't think you can handle by yourself all the problems that are sent your way, All of us need someone we can rely on, You and me have the perfect team that we can depend on 24 hours a day it is god and his son, [19] CRYING Comes to you in times of sorrow, Releases you from stress so you can start again on the morrow, You have not lived life to the fullest, If you have not done it once at least, Not only can sorrow bring it to you, God can to when he blesses you, [20] PERFECT HEART Perfect was the heart of our savior, Even in times of pain and suffering his love for god did not waver, Receiving what ever man could dish out, Feeling the pain but never letting out a shout, Even when they took him to nail him to the cross, Calmly he went and not once was his composure lost, The will of the heavenly father is what he wanted to do, His love for him kept him to his father's will true, Everyone should use him as an example for their life, Although we may all encounter strife, Relentless we should strive to obtain, The perfect heart that only Jesus could maintain, [21] PEARLY GATES Put at the entrance of heaven to keep satan's hoard from coming through, Evil may not go through but it will not stop a born again child like you, As if it could stop a child of the lord, Redeamed from sin by the holy word, Led down paths of righteousness, Year in and out they are relentless, Giving and doing all they can to be right with god so they can acquire a place in heaven, All of them have been through Christs blood that is eternal lifesaving, Through the blood their heart is pure, Everyone who keeps stead fast on course will be insured, Satisfaction will be theirs when they come to the pearly gates and they open so they will have to wait, [22] TEARS OF A SAVIOR The soldier took a moment to wonder why, Even when he had gave him self to the savior there were still tears in the saviors eyes, Although he had done what the savior desire, Repented for his sins and forced Satan from his heart to retire, Still the tears flowed from the saviors eyes for what reasons he did not know, Overcome with the thought that what he had done, For the savior gods only son, All of battles with Satan he had fought and won so he could enter in to the saviors perfect light, Simply was not enough to bring the savior delight, As he looked at his saviors tear stained face a smile replaced the frown, Valiant was your fight for the right to wear a crown, It was the voice of the savior, On his face though the tears did not waiver, Realize though the reason I still cry is that for every one that wins a crown there are thousands that do not and within the fires of hell they are sent, I no longer felt worthy and with tears in my eyes I laid my crown and walked away, [23] WISDOM We sometimes think it takes a long time to become wise, It is something we all want and is considered a great prize, So we study hard so we can learn, Don't think though with knowledge comes wisdom that we can discern, Only through learning experiences do we gain wisdom, Many think we will not gain it until we seek out and find god's kingdom, [24] WORK IN PROGRESS Are you a work in progress, Or are you one who is determined to degress, To a time when men were more like a beast, Who on the fears and sorrows of mankind did feast, A time when man only thought what they would gain, If they caused another human being pain, A work in progress is someone who has found the meaning of life, And it is not causing mankind undo strife, It is a person who is meek and mild, With feelings like the child Who loves the heavenly father, As well as each other, At work in progress will do what they can, To see to the needs of another human, Each time that journey here will end, Then angels will come and take you to the promised land, Where Jesus himself will be waiting to put the keys of your mansion in your hand, [25] THE DELUGE The sins of the land were great, Human kind were no longer in a pure state, Everywhere Satan had control of men, Demons ran free throughout the land, Engaging with humans and animals in ungodly acts, Looking down god examined the facts, Unavoidable was what god decided to do, God put Noah and his family in the ark and a lot of the animals too, Earth was then flooded with rain but sin survived ndit again rose up over mankind to reign, [26] THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD Through the eyes of the child you can almost see him, Sitting on his throne in his heavenly realm, For when you look into the eyes of a child you can see their pure soul, A soul that has not yet been soiled, By the evil servants of Satan, For the moment they are protected by angels and Satan stands by waiting, Through the eyes of a child you can still see god's love, That still connects them to god in heaven above, For they are fresh out of the mold, And only know about the things in heaven and what they were told, Through the eyes of a child you can see that they are still pure in heart children, Not yet separated from god by sin, For they are to young to comprehend, The teachings of man, Through the eyes of a child he can see you, And he knows what things to them you do, Don't be the one responsible for their first sin, For there's nothing worse then separating god from his children, Through the eyes of a child you can gain gods respect, If you help them through their early lives collect, Loving adoration for the heavenly father, And the same for each other, Through the eyes of that child you will see nothing but love on judgment day, For they will remember how you went out of your way, To teach them what is right and wrong, So there belief and faith in god would be strong, And when you stand before the throne there will be angels cheering all around, As you kneel before the child to receive your crown, [27] BLESSINGS Blessings are for free, For you and for me, All you have to do, Is let him know you, Take time today, And go to your knees to pray, Let him know you want to know him, And his heavenly realm, Let him know you are worthy of his love, That he sends down from heaven above, Go to him to be forgiven, Of your hell spawned sin, And when your soul is pure again then will come his blessings and they won't stop coming, Until the terrible day, When from his face you turn away, And walk the way of Satan, And all his hating, [28] THE THIEF TO THE RIGHT On calvary hill Jesus did not die alone, Nor by his self did he go before god's throne, For that day two thieves also died on across, One was saved the other one lost, Both thieves were sinners, But one humbled himself and became a winner, He was allowed to see god's face, All because of god's grace, He had escaped satan's grasp and obtained his freedom, By asking Christ to remember him when he came into his kingdom, For with those words that thief and Jesus's right, Had entered into the perfect light, And the sins committed by this man which were not few, Were forgiven by the son of god and king of the jews, This thief was not like the others, For he once was a respectable father, With a wife that was free of sin, And two beautiful children, He once had a good job, And on his knees every day he prayed to god, They lived a good life, And suffered no strife, Well god looked down on them one day, And wondered what would happen if from them he turned away, Would they still strive to be his children, Or would they turn to Satan, Well with them he let Satan have his way, And he did by taking everything away, So from a family with great wealth of store, They became very poor, One day they lived in the house that was not cheep, And the next day they Lived in the street, Although god let satan take away their wealth, He did not allow him to take away their health, They always had something to eat, And a place where they could rest their feet, With what god did provide, The woman was quite satisfied, And she let god know how she felt, When in prayer to him she knelt, But to the man it was not a enough, For he longed for the rich mans stuff, That ws the things he craved, And because of that to them he was enslaved, His wife tried to get him to accept the life they now led, But he had satans plans to fulfill instead, He and the other man stole some of a rich man's family jewels, Thus breaking one of gods and man's golden rules, He thought he would have got the way, But the outher man killed the rich man as he tried to get away, Because of this crime they were hard sought, And within that same day they were both caught, Since a man died in the crime both men were sentenced to be crucified, Regardless of the fact, The one thief had not committed the deadly act, On the cross he told his wife, That he was not responsible for the taking of the life, But he deserved what he got, Because in troubled times god's help he had not sought, He told his wife she had done the right thing, By not losing faith in god and continually praying, With those words he knew god would take care of his children and wife, Throughout their earthly life, As he was talking to his wife he heard the other thief give Jesus strife, When he rebuked him aloud, He made his wife of him proud, Not only that Jesus blessed him, By telling him that he would be with him in god's heavenly realm, And as far as I know when he died, That's where he went to abide, So now you know the story, Of the thief that went to Glory, All because of what he had done, Standing up for god's one and only son, [29] OUR FIRST LOVE What happened to our first love the heavenly father, The one we said we would love and no other, The one that brought Israel out of slavery into freedom, And gave them their own kingdom, God gave us his son to propagate his grace, Not to take his place, We all know his son on the cross died, But we seem to forget that it was through the father's hand that death was defied, And Christ once again, Walked throughout the land, Even Christ said he would not be here if not for the father, And we should not worship any other, He made it clear time and again he was gods son, And he was on earth to see to it his father's will would be done, Yes he did say if you see me you have seen the father, But me and my father look like each other,
